CASA METTI
Lu Monferrato
ITALY
A charming rural house comprising two separate parts, one refurbished in the mid seventies, the other, derelict and uninhabited for over 50 years.
The ground floor of the property is approximtely 45sq, m. within which we created a large dining kitchen together with a comfortable living area as well as at the customers' request an additional shower room and w.c..Ont the first floor, is a spacious bedroom with ensuite master bathroom extending over 24sqm. We also created a second bedroom utilising a mezzanine with feature internal stairway to significantly increase the total living area.
We also utilised a cellar area in the basement underneath the front door balcony (15sqm) as well as preserving the traditional vaulted ceiling cellar (20sqm).These are both noww able to be used as family living spaces and both lead out to the rear gardenwhich extends to around 200sq.m. The property also benefits from a shared courtyard to the front.
The property required extensive renovation as per our Architect design following detailed consulations with the client.
